Kuala Lumpur – Celebration of Federal Territory on January 28, 2012. Themed “United people, progressive Federal Territory” for the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, Labuan and Putrajaya.
This celebration was accompanied by an antique car parade, motorcycle riding and contingent Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL). Dataran Merdeka became the focus of the citizen and to witness the parade and the parade in conjunction with the launch of the 2012 Federal Territory Day celebration.
Ceremony officiated by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak has been aparade by 94 contingents with 8000 member representing various government departments, higher education institution, school, NGO’s, and corporate bodies.
In conjunction with the Ministry of Federal Territories and Urban Wellbeing with City Hall, Putrajaya Corporation, Labuan Corporation, Director of land and Mines Office Federal Territories to provide gifts.Discounting or deductions to the compound, free rental for sports facilities and community halls, free coupons and discount to public place, a discount for payment of land tax on offer to visitor.
